Wednesday, August 5th, 12-1pm — Join your fellow staff for a fun and informal lunch at Library Mall! BYO lunch or purchase from one of many food truck vendors. Meet on the lawn across from St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Thursday, September 17th, 12-1pm — Join your fellow staff for a Chat & Chew featuring the Sustainability Electric Eats food truck and lawn games! BYO lunch or grab lunch from Gordon or Electric Eats. Meet at the food truck parked on East Campus Mall alongside Gordon Dining and Event Center.

Campus Farm

Stop by the farm’s open volunteer days every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm in summer 2026 to lend a hand and learn more about the farm!

Fill out the Campus Farm Volunteering Form to take a tour of the farm, schedule a group volunteering session, or sign up for our volunteer email list to get notified about weather-related changes to the schedule.

New Tech Support Portal Coming July 29

DoIT will go live with a new Departmental Tech Support (DTS) Portal on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, featuring an updated design and NetID login. This new DTS Portal, which is the place for Housing staff to submit tech support requests, will still use the same existing URL, so you will not need to change your links. There may be a brief outage of this service during the transition as the new portal goes live.

UW Housing Madison Mallards Baseball Game

The ticket portal is open! Join Housing staff in our reserved seating. Scan the QR code to pick your seats and ticket option.

Ticket + Hat for $16 – Includes a grandstand seat and a Mallards baseball hat. Your ticket is color‑coded so they know to hand over your hat at the gate. Easy.
Pepsi Pre‑Game Party Tent – Soda Package for $30 – Includes a grandstand seat plus 90 minutes of unlimited ballpark food and all the soda or water you can handle.
Pepsi Pre‑Game Party Tent – Beer Package for $37 – Includes a grandstand seat with the same unlimited food, soda and water but now with beer and cider.

Gates open at 3:05pm, and the first pitch is at 4:05pm. Let’s make this outing a home run!

Electric Eats on the Block

Keep your eyes peeled! The little blue truck is hitting the block this summer.

Our Electric Eats food truck will be popping around campus over the next few months with surprise stops and delicious eats. If you see it, stop by and grab a bite!

Annual Performance Reviews launched July 1st!

The Annual Evaluation is a structured discussion for growth, recognition, and strategic alignment. Annual Reviews launched in Workday on July 1, 2026. This review period documents performance from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Employees starting on or after May 1, 2026, are not eligible to receive an Annual Review-2026 in Workday.

We are encouraging our division to have performance reviews completed by mid-August but have flexibility through August and into the official September 30th deadline. Resources and supports for Non-Computers-Based Positions and/or Supported by Language Services have been established.

Note the Change! There is now only one overall rating with this evaluation!

As a reminder, the Employee Health and Wellness Fair has been cancelled due to campus cooling issues. We plan to reschedule this event in early spring!

But the free Health Screening Event will still go on for those who have already registered! Registration is now closed. Sorry, no walk-ins.
