Employee Resources for Online Attacks
UW-Madison employees may increasingly find themselves the subject of unwanted attention online as incidents of trolling and doxxing become more common.
What to do:
- Employees should call 9-1-1 immediately if they or their family are in imminent physical danger or receive specific threats.
- If the incident is related to or may impact the workplace or their work, employees should contact their supervisor or Housing HR at hr@housing.wisc.edu. Supervisors are to contact their local HR representative.

Going to Be Out of the Office This Summer?
Employees are encouraged to have Workday tasks delegated to someone who will be available while they are out of the office to ensure processes continue to move forward. Delegation can be set up by the employee themselves, or if needed, by their manager or a Delegation Manager. Ideally, when possible, delegation should be completed before an employee leaves the office.
