December Socials

Celebrate the end of the year with our December Social events! There will be entertainment provided by HEaRT including board games, cornhole, and coloring pages & supplies. Snacks, refreshments and cookie decorating will also be provided!

The social dates, times and locations are as follows:

December 12 from 1-2pm at UA 139
December 15 from 2-3pm at the Gordon Overture
December 16 from 2-3pm at the Frank Holt Center
December 16 from 8:30-9:30pm at the Jones Office

Midpoint Evaluations will be mass advanced in Workday on 1/2/25

Evaluations provide a valuable opportunity for supervisors and employees to review performance, identify development opportunities, and align objectives with departmental and University goals. The Midpoint Evaluation is used to provide feedback and an overall rating midway through a performance cycle.

Midpoint Evaluation:

Initiated by Talent Administrator for entire organization.
Manager and employee complete the evaluation in Workday.
Midpoint Evaluation Period: 7/1/25 - 12/31/25
DUE: March 31, 2026

New Inclusive Language and Workplace Workshop

Beginning December 8, a new Inclusive Language and Workplace Workshop will be added to Housing New Employee Welcome! This workshop is designed to serve as an introduction to inclusive language and creating an inclusive workplace.

All Housing employees are now required to participate in this valuable workshop. Details will come soon to all areas on how you can attend this workshop. This workshop is available in translations of English, Spanish, Nepali, Tibetan, Chinese, and Hmong.

Acknowledge a Colleague for their Dedication

Housing Employee Award season is coming up soon! Submit a nomination between January 1 and January 31 for service throughout 2025. Awards will be presented at the annual Housing Breakfast on Thursday May 21, 2026 at Union South Varsity Hall.
