Fall Move-In

Fall move-in for the residence halls is approaching quickly, and many of you are already busily helping us prepare for our residents to arrive. To help everyone get ready and have a successful fall opening, we’ve gathered some key information for staff about fall move-in and opportunities to get involved.

What to Know for Move-in
As we get ready for residence hall move-in (August 25, 27, 28, and 29, with some groups moving in early on and other dates), please read over the Fall Move-in information sent to incoming residents, so you’re familiar with this year’s plans. For additional details, check out the BAT SharePoint site off of the Housing Hub.

Employee Political Activity Guidelines

A new resource from UW–Madison answers questions about political campaign and public advocacy activities on campus. Political Activity and Public Advocacy on Campus: Guidelines for Fall 2024 provides information on rights, restrictions, and resources. Employees and students should use this information to guide their decisions in the upcoming election season and to find answers to questions about permissible campaign and political activity.
