Phillips and Slichter Renovation Projects Continue

If you’ve been in the Lakeshore area this summer, you probably experienced some of the construction activity at Phillips and Slichter Residence Halls. Work on the Phillips renovation project is progressing well as contractors convert spaces on the first and second floors to create 17 more resident rooms and improved common areas, on track for completion in August.

At Slichter, crews are replacing all resident windows, renovating bathrooms, replacing built-in furniture, and doing exterior masonry work, also all due for completion in August. The remaining den and administrative office level windows will be replaced next summer.

Thank you to our Facilities team and contractors for their hard work to make these big improvements for our residents!
