Dining Farm Work Days
The Dining Farm is in full swing for the 2024 growing season and we'd love to invite all Housing staff to stop by the farm for a visit or volunteer opportunity! Farm staff are available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays throughout the summer and individuals or groups are encouraged to tour or help out for ~2 hour volunteer shifts, which include light weeding, planting, trellising, and harvesting at the on-campus 2-acre farm that supplies vegetables for Dining & Culinary Services. Please contact sustainability@housing.wisc.edu to get involved!

Campus-Area Traffic Delays During Summer
Several new construction projects will begin immediately after commencement, joining multiple projects-in-progress on and near the UW–Madison campus. Prepare for your daily commute and review the projects that will cause roadway, sidewalk, and bicycle facility closures, as well as Madison Metro detours.
