We are wrapping up the third and final summer of renovations at Sellery Residence Hall, and the building is really coming into its renewed glory. While we know multi-year renovation projects are a major undertaking, this would not be possible without all the teamwork from the various departments in University Housing. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and determination as we forged ahead these past 5 years on this project together. We are so excited to welcome new residents to the beautiful space!
Refreshed Housing Website
Cool and crisp iced tea or a light and fruity Starbucks drink are refreshing for summer, but the Housing website has undergone its own refresh for the summer! Yesterday, Marketing launched an update to the undergraduate-focused section of the Housing website to better serve our online audience and improve user experience. Web pages were rearranged, combined, assigned new URLs, and given a slightly new look. This means that you will have to update any bookmarks you may have in your web browser to the new links. If you find anything that isn't quite right on the new pages, please let Marketing know. In the coming months, we'll continue tweaking the site and looking at other sections for improvements.
What to Know for Residence Hall Move-In

Welcome, New Housing Employees!
Join us in welcoming new staff to University Housing who started in July in departments across the division!
Spreading Kindness at UA
Throughout the month of July, the residents of University Apartments were focusing on sharing kindness in the UA community in our very own Kindness Campaign. From all of these opportunities, the families, friends, couples, and even singles in University Apartments learned a lot about kindness, support, and appreciation. Friendships were formed, and many others saw the value in giving back to other residents and Madison locals.
Recent Badgers Moved Out Sustainably
With the help of 207 volunteers and over 21 campus and community partners, we were able to save 150,146 pounds of material from the landfill during residence hall move-out last May. That's approximately the weight of 7,500 empty red carts! Thanks to all those who helped make this incredible initiative happen.
