A Night Under the Sea

Last Friday, University Apartments hosted their first annual Family Prom. Residents enjoyed dancing the night away in an "under the sea" decorated gymnasium, along with playing games like fishbowl toss, pin the tail on the shark, magnetic fishing, and limbo. Kick Off 175 Years of UW–Madison

Attend the celebration of the year (or, rather, celebrations for a whole year)! Tonight, campus is kicking off a yearlong celebration at Memorial Union for UW–Madison's 175th anniversary. Enjoy a scoop of ice cream, be one of the first to check out a brand new Bucky on Parade, sample some snacks from Babcock Dairy and Varsity Meats, and so much more. In the history of Terrace sunsets, this one will be the most special yet!

Dining Farm to the Market Tables

Dining & Culinary Services is in the middle of the first growing season of their 1-acre farm in the Eagle Heights Community Gardens! The vegetable farm aims to support student and staff learning opportunities and harvest delicious, campus-grown produce. Dining staff selected seeds and vegetable varieties that are unique and versatile for menus and programming, including vibrant and colorful varieties of herbs, greens, root crops, squash, and tomatoes. This summer, the Dining & Culinary Services Campus Farm has already harvested around 130 pounds of kale, with 110 pounds of the leafy green grown in a single week! You'll find produce from the farm on menus in our dining markets this fall.
