Campus After Dark
Nightshift workers play a significant part in the UW experience. Without House Fellows, Dining staff, 2nd- and 3rd-shift custodians, and many others in Housing and throughout campus, UW–Madison would be a very different place! Hats off to all of you who keep us running after sunset.

Stay Active This Summer
Rec Well is hosting summer intramural leagues for UW–Madison staff! Join a team and play kickball, soccer, sand volleyball, and so many more! If traditional sports aren't your style, keep your brain active with a trivia or Super Smash Brothers league. Either way, it's all free all summer.

Fiscal Year-End Leave Reminders for Academic Staff
|
The fiscal year ends Friday, June 30, 2023, and Academic Staff should plan to use any personal holiday, vacation carryover, and legal holiday prior to their expiration on July 1. If you have completed 11 or more years of state service, you may be eligible to convert unused vacation time to ALRA (banked leave) in July. Any current fiscal-year vacation that is not used by July 1 and not converted to ALRA will become vacation carryover for the upcoming fiscal year. If at any time you think or know you are going to lose leave time, you can reach out to Housing HR to see if any staff in Housing or on campus need catastrophic leave donations.

The Studio Provided a Start to Growing Band, East of Vilas
The members of East of Vilas have been just the latest band to break into the scene in Madison and beyond. The band met and began collaborating a few years ago in The Studio Learning Community, housed in Ogg Residence Hall, and they are gaining popularity in streaming and live performances. In Madison, the group will continue performing, with plans to perform at local establishments and even the Memorial Union Terrace over the summer.
