Electric Eats is Recharged for Spring

Electric Eats is ready for the spring semester starting this week! The first day of service for 2023 was today, but you can catch the truck outside of Waters Residence Hall on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:45-11am. If you're a social media user, follow the truck on Instagram at @electriceats_uw for the latest menus and information!

Help us in congratulating this year's 22 ROSE Award recipients! ROSE Awards are presented to the top-performing 1% of Housing student employees each year. Students are nominated by their supervisors for outstanding overall work performance and individual contributions to the division.

Comp Time Carryover Reminder for University Staff

As a reminder, any Comp Time Carryover from 2022 that is not used by April 30, 2023 will be paid out on the May A paycheck (pay date of May 18th). It will be paid out at your regular hourly rate. Employees can use the time in Kronos by selecting the "CompUsed" pay code when taking time off or save the Comp Time Carryover when taking time off to receive a larger payout in the May A paycheck. Please work with your supervisor to ensure that your Comp Time Carryover is used in the way you prefer.

Academic Staff Mid-year Leave Reminder

On February 21, 2023, the Housing Payroll Office emailed a reminder to Academic Staff regarding leave usage now that the fiscal year is more than half over. Please review the email if you are an Academic Staff employee and reach out to Housing Payroll at payroll@housing.wisc.edu with any questions.

Keep Sweeping!

If you have items or supplies in your office area that you may not use, now is the time to clean them out! The 2023 Spring Sweep exchange is happening two weeks from today (April 5-7) at the Carson Gulley Upper Program room. Drop off items at the nearest location to you so other Housing staff have the chance to use them before sending them to SWAP!

Housing Wins Partners in Giving Awards

University Housing received two fantastic awards this year for our contribution and involvement in the 2022 Partners in Giving Campaign. We won second place for the Percent Increase in Contributions award and our PinG Committee won the 2022 Partners in Giving Innovation Events Award. A special congratulations to Faye Reber for winning the Partners in Giving Excellence Award!
