Last Chance to Nominate a Colleague!
Nominations for the annual Housing Employee Awards close soon! You have until Tuesday, January 31 to nominate and recognize your co-workers for their outstanding service to the division in 2022. Awards will be presented at the annual Housing Breakfast on May 19, 2023. Access to paper nomination forms, translated materials, and online nominations submissions are all available at go.wisc.edu/housingawards. If you do not have access to a computer, please ask your supervisor for a paper nomination form!

A Spring Health Update for Campus
As the spring semester gets underway, UW–Madison students, faculty, and staff are reminded about steps to take to keep healthy, especially from respiratory illnesses like COVID-19, seasonal flu, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The university will continue to consult public health experts and seek guidance throughout the semester and will provide additional updates as needed.

W-2 Forms Available Online

Electronic 2022 W-2 forms are now available online through MyUW. Paper copies of W-2 Forms are mailed to all employees except those who chose electronic-only delivery. Everyone may access tax forms through MyUW.

Housing Speaker Series: Lois Brooks

Join us for another installation of the Housing Speaker Series! This session, we will be welcoming Lois Brooks, CIO & Vice Provost for Information Technology. The Housing Speaker Series is open to all career staff and provides the opportunity to gain better knowledge from selected leadership and the broader campus community on the most salient issues they’re dealing with.

New Campus PowerPoint Templates Available
Campus recently released updated PowerPoint templates for staff to use. This month, UW-Madison announced new official fonts for digital and print materials, and the new templates use these updated university-branded fonts. They also incorporate elements that are key to the university’s brand and can be easily customized for any content you may need!

Do you know someone that would be a perfect fit for the University Housing team? Refer someone for a career staff position and you can earn $1,000 for each person who is successfully hired! There is no limit on the number of referrals you can make. Ask people you refer to share your name at their interview.
