Nalox-ZONE Boxes Installed in University Housing
UW-Madison is partnering with Wisconsin Voices for Recovery through the Nalox-ZONE Program to provide free access to Nalox-ZONE boxes in University Housing. The boxes, which contain nasal spray naloxone, will allow someone to respond quickly to the signs of an opioid overdose. The 12 locations in Housing are paired with AEDs (devices to revive the heart during sudden cardiac arrest), offering students access to two potentially lifesaving resources in our buildings.
