A New Location for Packages

This past summer, several areas of Housing worked to put together the Package Center, a central hub for Lakeshore packages. Staff and residents in Lakeshore, except those in Waters, should now pick up packages at the Package Center in lower Holt instead of their hall desk (Waters packages can still be picked up at the hall desk). Thank you to all involved in getting this new location running!

Taking Food To-go

Wondering what the Ticket to Takeout Program offers with the new dining plan? In addition to one green reusable to-go container for your food, you can also receive disposable containers for your soup and drinks! All food must fit inside the containers with the exception of one piece of fruit and a cookie or dessert bar.

Boost Your Immune System This Fall

This fall, University Health Services (UHS) is hosting free flu shot clinics around campus. Get your flu shot to help keep yourself healthy and prevent the spread of illness. Updated COVID-19 boosters that protect against the original strain and newer Omicron variants will be available through UHS soon. Watch the COVID-19 vaccine information web page for updates on when boosters will be available.

Earn $150 while keeping up with your wellbeing with Well Wisconsin! State of Wisconsin employees and their spouses may be able to earn a $150 Well Wisconsin gift card by completing a few wellness activities. The deadline to earn the incentive is October 14, 2022.

Annual Benefits Enrollment Period

The Annual Benefits Enrollment (ABE) period for 2022 runs from Monday, September 26 – Friday, October 21. This is the only time of the year when you can make benefits changes unless you have a life event (marriage, birth of a child, divorce, employment change, etc.) that allows you to change your benefits. Changes made during this period will be effective January 1, 2023.

What is Partners in Giving?

Help Out in a Dining Market

Career staff continue to be able to sign up for shifts in the dining markets during the academic year for overtime and additional pay opportunities. This is a great way to learn about what our colleagues in Dining & Culinary Services do while earning some extra money.
