Congrats, University Staff Recognition Award Recipients!

Two of our very own Housing staff received University Staff Recognition Awards this year! Be sure to congratulate Erik Lenning and David Marburger in Dining & Culinary Services for the accomplishment. Each year, ten University Staff from departments and units across campus are selected to receive this award.

Technology Learning Center Rebrand

Same place, new name! Our Technology Learning Centers (TLCs) in the residence halls will now be called Media Centers to encompass the many different functions the spaces provide. With fewer computers and more collaborative elements, we're hoping that residents will find the spaces to be better conducive to today's needs for learning.

Dinner by Dining: Pork Bahn Mi Tacos

Dinner plans for next week just got tastier! Next Wednesday, July 6, pick up hot and fresh pork bahn mi tacos for 2, 4, or 6 people at Carson's. What makes up these tacos? You'll get marinated pork, flour tortillas, sriracha sour cream, cilantro lime rice, refried beans, firecracker slaw, fresh jalapeños, green onion, and cilantro. You can add on a passion fruit key lime pie for dessert, too!

Take the 2022 Cybersecurity Awareness Training

The 2022 Cybersecurity Awareness Training for all staff, including student staff, is now available to take in video or text format. Be sure to complete this by December 1, 2022.

Housing Speaker Series

Join Housing staff in attending upcoming speaker events! This series, open to all career staff, will provide the opportunity for Housing staff to gain better knowledge from selected leadership and the broader campus community on the most salient issues that they are dealing with.

Save the Date: Flu Shot Clinics

Save the date for 2022 free flu shot clinics at UW–Madison. These clinics are open to students, employees, and spouses. Four clinics will be available at Gordon Dining & Event Center later this year.

Making Seed Bombs at Allen Centennial Gardens

Check out the photos from Monday's Seed Bomb class at Allen Centennial Gardens! Staff learned about harvesting and drying fresh herbs and took home wildflower seed bombs that they made. Don't miss the second Seed Bomb class tomorrow, June 30, at 3pm!
