Electric Eats Food Truck Launched

The newest sustainable food truck on-campus is here! Thanks to funding from MG&E and the UW-Madison Office of Sustainability Green Fund, Electric Eats will now be offering a variety of sustainable food options all around campus. Their first meal was on April 12, with some pop-up dates planned later this semester depending on weather, and a full regular schedule planned for the fall. Watch their schedule for future updates!

These awards recognize an outstanding new employee, an outstanding experienced employee, and employees, including teams, who embody University Housing’s core values. Don’t miss your opportunity to nominate a fellow staff member. Submit Cultural or Traditional Recipes & Stories

The Divisional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team is still collecting different recipes and stories from you to be featured in Housing Highlights. Food is a shared language and we hope to connect with each other through this project. We hope to create a recipe book that we can add to and share with each other.
2022 Staff Climate Survey, April 12-May 3

On Tuesday, April 12th, UW-Madison employees were emailed a survey with questions about the workplace environment, work unit, relationship with supervisor, and more. Please complete the survey! It only takes about 15 minutes and is mobile-friendly. Paper surveys are available upon request and at a variety of in-person sessions.

The Housing Speaker Series event originally scheduled in June featuring Derek Kindle, Chief Enrollment Officer for the Division of Enrollment Management, has been moved to September 28, 2022. If you already registered for the June event, your registration has been rescheduled to the new September date.

If you would like to get campus information sent directly to your phone, sign up for text messages with WhatsApp. Messages are sent in English, Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali.

Well Wisconsin Program Offers Resources and Incentive

Well Wisconsin is a voluntary wellness program available at no cost to UW–Madison employees, their spouses, and retirees who are enrolled in the State Group Health Insurance Program. The program offers resources that can help participants set goals, track their progress, and stay motivated. Participants can earn a $150 incentive by completing three activities by October 14, 2022.

The 2022 Housing Gutterball event theme is neon! Wear your neon colors if you have them. Glow necklaces and bracelets will be provided to all attendees. Lanes are filling fast, so get your registration in online or with a paper form soon! Registration and payment are due by Tuesday, May 17th.
