Campus Masking Order to End March 12

Thanks to the continued decline in COVID-19 cases on and off campus, UW–Madison will phase out its campus indoor masking requirement on March 12, the start of Spring Recess. This is following Public Health Madison & Dane County's (PHMDC) February 14th announcement that masks will no longer be required in other indoor spaces throughout Dane County after March 1.

Monday, February 21, Housing staff received an email with an invitation to take an EID pulse survey to help assess Engagement, Inclusion, and Diversity efforts. Annual CSA & Responsible Employee Training

New in 2022, and in efforts to increase compliance levels, the CSA and Responsible Employee Training will be offered online only. The annual online training is very thorough and allows people to move at their own pace and also bookmark important websites with reporting and resource information.

Mandatory Reporting Training

The annual refresher for Mandatory Reporter training will be available only online. Employees with ESL or non-English speaking are exempt for this training until onsite courses with CLS are available.

Nominate a Student for a ROSE Award

As a reminder, ROSE Award nominations are due to each department's director by March 3, 2022. Each spring, the Division of University Housing presents ROSE Awards to student employees whose work performance is outstanding. The receipt of a ROSE Award is a significant distinction and becomes part of each recipient’s permanent Division of University Housing work record.
