Residence Hall & University Apartments Facilities to be Combined
Two of University Housing’s facilities operations, Residence Hall Facilities and University Apartments Facilities, will be combined into one unified unit as of February 21, 2022. This new unit, called University Housing Facilities, will be led by Mike Kinderman, current director of Residence Hall Facilities.

As a reminder, all staff are asked to provide important insights about their experiences with administrative services across campus in the 2022 Administrative Quality Satisfaction Survey. Survey results will be used to assess and improve overall satisfaction with UW-Madison’s administrative services.

ConnectYourCare is Now Part of Optum Financial
As a reminder for employees enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Saving Account (HSA), ConnectYourCare is now part of Optum Financial. Any tax forms or statements that may be mailed to you will come from Optum and will be regarding either your FSA or your HSA. If you have tax filing questions related to your HSA, you can visit Optum Financial’s HSA Tax Center for more information

W-2 Forms Posted Online in MyUW
Electronic 2021 W-2 Forms are now available online through your MyUW portal. Paper copies of W-2 Forms are mailed to all employees except those who chose electronic-only delivery. Everyone may access tax forms through MyUW.

1095-C Tax Forms
On February 2nd, the UW-System notified employees that electronic copies of the 2021 Form 1095-C are now available online in the MyUW portal. Employees will receive a paper copy of Form 1095-C via U.S. mail, postmarked by March 2, 2022. Paper copies are mailed to all employees except those who elected to receive an electronic only 1095-C by January 18, 2022.

New Suicide Prevention Training Available for UW-Madison Staff
The University Health Services (UHS) Prevention Team has recently launched a suicide prevention training for staff to participate in. The training aims to build important skills for intervening and provides examples to help staff understand what to do when a student is experiencing mental distress.
