Awareness & Care: Impact of Current Trials & University Housing Processing Spaces

Currently, there are two trials taking place that may impact you or someone you know. Some of us may not want to talk about the cases because of the visceral and direct trauma or connection; some of us may not want to talk about it because we aren’t aware or don’t feel connected due to our identities. Know that we may know someone in our life (family, friends, acquaintances, etc.) who will experience significant impact of the trials and the eventual verdicts from these cases. The CCE will be hosting two processing spaces this week for our residents and Housing staff to provide support.

Campus Inclement Weather Guidelines

As the weather moves inevitably toward cold and snowy days ahead, the Office of Human Resources reminds employees of the university’s inclement weather guidelines. The chancellor decides if classes will be canceled or services suspended, based on the safety and welfare of students, faculty and staff. Our Division provides essential services and has separate University Housing guidelines for weather-related absences.

We will share more information as it becomes available.
