New MyUHS App from University Health Services

University Health Services (UHS) has launched a new MyUHS app available for download on your smartphone. This app, a version of the online patient portal, is available for both iPhone and Android, and will be replacing the Safer Badgers app for any COVID-19 needs on campus after August 9.

Dinner by Dining: BBQ Chicken Quarters

Housing Dining’s Dinner by Dining hot meal for July 21 features BBQ chicken quarters! In addition to the main course, you'll also get bowtie pasta salad, summer vegetable medley, southwest corn bread, and you can add on a death by chocolate cream puff. Orders close on Monday, August 2, so don't miss out!

Annual Compliance Training for Housing Staff

All faculty and staff members at UW-Madison share a responsibility to create safe learning and work environments and a positive campus climate. To do so requires all of us to understand certain federal and state compliance obligations, meet our reporting responsibilities, and know the appropriate campus resources to address safety concerns. The 2021-2022 Mandated Reporter training is available now for staff to take.

Annual CSA/Title IX Responsible Employee Training in August

For those considered "responsible employees," annual CSA and Responsible Employee Training takes place in the month of August. Under the Clery Act, certain staff, faculty, and student employees have mandated reporting obligations. These individuals, called "Campus Security Authorities” (CSAs), are required to forward statistical reports of crimes to designated offices on campus.

New Policy and Guidance for Remote Work

UW–Madison has a revised Remote Work Policy, effective August 1, 2021, that reflects the evolving nature of the campus workplace, and it provides guidance for UW–Madison employees seeking flexibility in the future. The policy details remote work options and creates procedures and practices that can mitigate the risks and liabilities of remote work.
