Never underestimate the power of the great outdoors! Research shows that spending as little as 10 minutes in nature and green spaces can offer several benefits for your mental, physical, and cognitive health. UHS is excited to announce the launch of Thrive Outside, a new webpage showcasing several nature spots for you to explore, creative ideas for outdoor activities, and practical tips to incorporate nature into your daily life. Watch for special opportunities to engage with the natural world, like the upcoming Ecotherapy Wellness Group.
It can be hard to find time to keep your room clean.
When you do have time, not knowing where to find cleaning supplies can be frustrating, too. Thankfully, there are cleaning supply kits in every residence hall community available for you to use to clean your room. If you aren’t sure where to look for supplies, ask a House Fellow or Housing Facilities staff member, or submit a maintenance request. Tips for staying on top your room include taking out trash, wiping down fridges, and cleaning and dusting surfaces as well as touchpoints like door knobs and light switches.
With the 2026 spring election coming up in April, voter education is crucial as we continue to foster a community of civically engaged students. BadgersVote has everything you need to ensure you are prepared to partake in democracy. Curious about voter registration, identification, casting your ballot, or early voting? Find the answers to your questions by exploring the resources offered here on campus, and prepare for the upcoming election in a way that works for you!
We’ve all been here at some point (or perhaps many points). If you’re feeling like this Badger from the ‘80s, keep that chin up and don’t forget to take care of yourself. You're stronger than you know!
Join us to discuss the effects of the patriarchy, specifically for male and masculine-identifying individuals. We will focus on confronting stereotypes and toxic masculinity.
