March 2026 – August 2026
Starting this week, renovations begin at the Gordon
Dining & Event Center to expand seating capacity, improve customer flow, and upgrade the dish room. Renovations will also include a remodel of the Flamingo Run convenience store and changes to some entrances. Gordon will remain open through the spring semester, but you may notice some noise, disruption, and service changes. The project is expected to be completed before Fall 2026 move-in.

Get Ready for Spring Break
Spring Break is right around the corner! While all residence halls will remain open throughout Spring Break, it's still important to plan ahead. If you're thinking of leaving campus, consider parking, bus routes, and traffic in your arrangements. Have questions? Contact your House Fellow or Residence Life Coordinator.

Maintenance Minute: Thanks, Custodians!
While you may not see them all the time, custodians have a huge role in helping you feel comfortable where you live. Whether vacuuming hallways, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, tending to maintenance requests, or simply giving a smile or wave as you pass by, all custodians deserve a heartfelt shoutout and thank you.

Artists Needed: Survivor Gallery
Wednesday, April 1 – Thursday, April 30
Submit Artwork By: Sunday, March 15
In preparation for Sexual Assault Awareness month, UHS invites student survivors to submit artwork to the “Reflect” gallery, survivor art-based gallery that will be hosted as part of UHS’s Connect & Reflect.
This series of events and spaces are for survivors of sexual violence and allies to reclaim campus, find community, and reduce stigma around survivorship. If you are a survivor of sexual violence, you are welcome to submit pieces that represent your experience.
