Trash & Recycling Reminders
When taking out your trash and recycling on Sundays, be sure all material is placed inside the appropriate dumpster. We've noticed an increase in trash on the ground over the weekend despite plenty of room available in the dumpsters for more waste. Always lift the lid and ask for help if you need it! Leaving trash on the ground not only makes it hard for staff to empty containers, but it can also be picked up by wildlife or blown around in the wind, which can be especially harmful to our nearby waterways. Thanks for doing your part! #BadgersLiveSustainably

Reminder: Returning Resident Process Starts Oct. 21
Return to University Housing in 2026-2027! When you #LiveWithBucky, we manage the small things, leaving you with more time for the things that matter, like studying, friends, and fun.
Starting October 21, residents will be able to log in to My UW Housing and complete their Notice of Intent for housing next fall. Students who indicate “yes” by October 27 will be assigned a random number to determine if and when they will have access to select a room.

Be a voice for unity and change on campus — Join the Pluralism and Unity Advisory Council!
Applications are due Friday, October 17 at 5 p.m.
Led by the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Fernie Rodriguez, the council brings together students from all walks of life — across political perspectives, religious and non-religious beliefs, cultural backgrounds, geographic origins — to collaborate with others and explore what pluralism truly means, how it can bring together differing opinions, and how this work fosters belonging on campus.
Whether you're from a rural town, a bustling city, or anywhere in between, all students are encouraged to apply -- your voice is needed.
