Honored Instructors. Nominate today!

Hats Off, UW Instructors!

Do you have an instructor that has positively impacted you? Take a moment to recognize them by submitting an Honored Instructor nomination. UW–Madison is full of professors who challenge you, help you learn, make learning fun, or inspire you, so let them know you appreciate them. Every instructor nominated will receive a recognition letter and award thanking them for their hard work. In addition, your nominated instructor will be invited to an Honored Instructor Social this semester (you'll get an invitation, too).

What to Know for Spring Break

All residence halls will be open during spring break (March 23–31) if you plan to stay on campus. If you are planning to leave, free parking will be available near your building for 30-minute pick-ups and drop-offs. Dining hours and desk hours will be reduced that week, so take a look at the schedules to plan your mail and meals. If you're leaving campus for the week, stay safe, and we'll see you soon!

Meals Available During Ramadan

If you are observing Ramadan and need meal service to accommodate your needs, Dining is here for you. All meals are Halal certified and will be available for pick-up at the market of your choice. Boxed Breakfasts will count as one meal swipe. Dates will be available at all markets to break the fast. We will be taking orders Monday–Friday from 8–4:30pm, and orders need to be placed by 2pm for same day pickup at 5pm or later.

Maintenance Minute: Having Wiscard Access Issues?

Like all technology, Wiscards and the card readers at your residence hall sometimes experience errors. If access issues ever happen to you, don’t worry. There are many solutions to the problem; you just have to figure out what that solution is! Here's a hint: scanning your Wiscard while it's in a phone case or wallet may be the problem.

Build a Welcoming Badger Community

Share with campus administrators what you love most about UW–Madison and where it could improve. Let us know your big and small ideas during Badger Dialogues sessions. Campus administrators and students from a variety of backgrounds can connect as community members with a shared purpose—working toward a more inclusive community where everyone can flourish.
